  1. This Cd is designed to be used in conjunction with your web browser.
  2. Simply pull down your browser's FILE menu selections and 
  3. select "LOAD FILE". Select the file "APPCD.htm" and it will
  4. load the beginning page which then gives you the choices of software
  5. found on the CD. This CD supports frame capable browsers and non-frame browsers
  6. alike. Once you have found a file you want to use simply download it to your own
  7. harddrive (clicking on a link) and then use one of the decompression utilities
  8. found on the CD to extract the program and install it.

  19. This CD-ROM was completed after the printing of the book began. Some minor
  20. changes have occurred since Appendix D was finalized:

  22. We have attempted to locate, and provide for you, the latest version of each
  23. software package provided on the disc.  Some of the software mentioned
  24. in the book has been updated and no longer has the version number listed.

  26. Some companies have released new  Beta versions of their software which they do
  27. not wish to be distributed on CD-ROM.  These programs now may be downloaded
  28. directly from the companyÆs web sites.  We have provided links to these sites on the
  29. CD-ROM when possible.
